Naytahwaush is a census-designated place in Mahnomen County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 578 at the 2010 census.According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 3.3�square miles, of which 2.9�square miles of it is land and 0.4�square miles of it is water.As of the census of 2000, there were 583 people, 166 households, and 124 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 30.0 people per square mile. There were 173 housing units at an average density of 8.9/sq�mi. The racial makeup of the CDP was 5.15% White, 0.86% African American, 91.25% Native American, 0.34% from other races, and 2.40% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.89% of the population.There were 166 households out of which 52.4% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 31.3% were married couples living together, 34.3% had a female householder with no husband present, and 24.7% were non-families. 18.
